What does the “B” stand for?

The “B” in The B. Well has several special meanings for us. Primarily, it’s a nod to our former name (B)ayliss Park Massage and (Well)ness. (B)alance in our offering of holistic treatments. (B)ody, Mind and Spirit and (B)eing our (B)est selves possible.

Do you offer Couples Massages?

Due to the size of our treatment rooms, we DO NOT offer couples massages. If our schedule permits, we can try to get two people in at the same time, but you will be in separate rooms or we will schedule sessions back-to-back with one therapist.

Does Cupping cause bruising?

No, these are actually cupping discoloration marks. These marks are commonly confused with bruises. While there is sometimes minor damage to capillaries, a cup mark does not respond the same as a bruise. First, it’s not painful; pressing on the cup mark causes no discomfort. Second, they don’t go through the same discoloration cycle that bruises do.
A cup mark will generally just fade and disappear within 24-72 hours. While a bruise cycles through lovely shades of purple, green, and yellow, before finally dissipating. If cup marks are lasting longer this could possibly indicate that the lymphatic system is sluggish and congested or that you aren’t well hydrated. Interestingly, (unlike bruises) when receiving regular cupping, the marks stop appearing even though we may be using stronger suction.

Will the Hypnotist make me do something embarrassing, like bark like a dog?

We're guessing you've seen a stage show where a hypnotist made people do all these crazy things. Or, perhaps you have ideas from Hollywood's movies and TV. The stage hypnotist carefully selects his subjects (watch how many volunteers he has sit down), and he chooses people he knows WILL bark like a dog. They will because somewhere inside them is a part that loves to entertain. And they will do it because, deep down inside, they don't believe there is anything wrong with barking like a dog.
Hypnosis can not make you do something that is against your morals or ethics. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, in truth, and no hypnotist can make you do something that you really don't want to do. That's why some people can be hypnotized to stop smoking and yet they still smoke. You have to want the change, agree with the change, and then hypnosis is an instrument for helping make that change better, faster, and permanent.
